The Tetley brand has recently launched ‘Tetley Cold’ into the Swiss market.

The Tetley brand has recently launched ‘Tetley Cold’ into the Swiss market. This will offer consumers a healthy way to flavour their water with refreshing fruit infusions that have been specially created to brew in cold water.

Tetley Cold is naturally caffeine free with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners with only 4 calories per serving (200ml) and it is easy to prepare - teabags are infused in cold water and brewed for 4-5 minutes.

The brand new refreshing cold tea format is available in two variants – Blueberry & Strawberry and Raspberry & Strawberry. It will be launched through Migros, Switzerland’s largest supermarket chain, as a limited summer edition. With Tetley Cold, Tata Global Beverages aims to generate growth via a new consumption occasion for tea bags which supports our good-for-you growth agenda.

Switzerland is the first market to launch Tetley Cold and it will initially be test-marketed for 12 weeks. If successful it will be launched in key European markets in summer 2012.
